The Dry Eye Disease is a common eye disease with symptoms including irritation, redness, discharge, and easily fatigued eyes. The treatment of this eye condition can prove to be difficult due to the many different underlying causes and varying treatment success.

For this reason, my team and I developed a fully functioning health app to support the treatment of the Dry Eye Disease in cooperation with ZEISS. The app not only helps setting reminders for treatments and offers useful information about the eye condition, but also lets you track your symptoms and share a generated report with your doctor.

My main coding responsibilities were implementation of the questionnaires for the symptom tracking using ResearchKit, creating the charts from the collected data with the Charts Framework, as well as generating and previewing the PDF using PDFKit and QuickLook.

During this project, I managed team and customer meetings within a team of six developer students and two health students. Furthermore, I was responsible for the modeling cross project team which included building models and ensuring the application of appropriate patterns.
